Mommy's Day

Awww....Mother's Day! I have always loved Mother's Day, mostly because I have such wonderful "mothers" in my life that made the day worth celebrating!  Of course, this year, was the best Mothers Day EVER!! I am so lucky that God choose me to Miles's mommy! He is challenging, loving, funny, sweet and he has made me a better person!! Funny thing about Mother's Day, Mother's Day 2009, is the day we broke our silence.  Last year on Mother's Day is the day that we told my family we were expecting, it is crazy to think that was just a year ago!!

Sweet, clean girl

4 months

My sweet baby is 4 months old.  I can not believe how fast these last 4 months have gone. 

Miles now weighs 14 pounds and is 24 inches long...

He is still a horrible eater...he screams at you while he is taking his bottle and yes he is actually hungry

He has to throw his fit before you can make things better...like the eating...he gets mad because he is hungry, so he screams, and he will continue screaming until he is done, even if you are trying to feed him and make things better.

He LOVES tv...the boy will break his neck trying to look at the tv....BUT you better not change the channel, once he starts watching something, he wants to finish it. If you change it before he is done, he will scream.

He is getting more and more ticklish!  His little chunky checks are even ticklish...it is so cute.

He giggles all the time!  Especially if you are tickling him.

He talks and sings constantly...he is a chatter box!

His thinks his hands are the best thing in the world!!! He chews on them constantly.

He has recently found his feet.  He cant get them to his mouth, but he is trying!

He loves to stand up!!! Standing up is so much better than laying down.

He still hates tummy time.

He has such a great personality! He smiles all the time and is a HUGE flirt...too cute!

He still being swaddled at night and can still get out of his magic swaddle blanket.

He is the Joy of my life and makes my life interesting and fun and he tests me daily, but I would not change it for the world!

Gone Fishing

Dad, Kris, Tara, Aaron, Zayne, Emry and myself decided that a trip to Lake Allen Henry would be a fun Sunday spent.  It was sooo cold and cloudy outside, and the fist were not biting, but non the less, we had a great time

Ok here is what I learned from our family fishing trip....dont not go right after a rain...you wont catch anything and its cold...Zayne will probably end up killing all the "mindows" since all he does it play with them...6 hours is way to long for a 2 year old little girl to be in a boat, with a life jacket on...and Memaw is the smart one out of the bunch....she got to go shopping with Miles all day.  We had a blast, but we decided that Pop needs a bigger boat.

Happy 80th Birthday Granddaddy

On April 6th, my granddaddy turned 80 years young.  We were blessed to have a birthday party for him, where he got to catch up with some family members and friends.  We all had so much fun spending the day with each other!!!  My granddaddy is the sweetest man in the world and I am so happy we got to celebrate this day with him!!!
