30 weeks

Here we are….30 weeks pregnant.  10 to go. We have set my c-section for April 10, 2012.  We hope I actually make it to then.  My blood pressure has been up since early 2nd trimester.  Our first goal is 34 weeks…which is March 1…YIKES!!!  If I make it to then, then our next go is 37 weeks.  We are hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks.

We have decided on a name…Keeton Jay.  Aaron came up with Keeton and come to find out, it is my mom’s favorite name and Jay is my dad’s middle name.  So we will have another KJ.

There have been some issues with Keeton.  He has Fetal Pyelctasis.  Click here to find out what this is…in medical terms.  The good news is, this is something that is pretty common in little boys and will more than likely correct itself once Keeton is delivered.  Pretty much the way the Dr. has explained it to me, is there is a “kink in his plumbing”  So usually when the baby is born, everything will straighten out.  The good great news is, there are no other signs of problems and his other kidney is working perfectly.  Also, the right kidney, which is the one that has the problem, has not got any bigger since I went and saw the specialist 8 weeks ago.  So, once Keeton gets here, we will meet with a pediatric urologist, they will do an ultrasound, and more than likely they will say there is no problem.  Good thing is you only need one kidney and his left kidney is great.

So that is just a little update on little KJ.  He is doing great…growing like crazy, and is a little mover.  (He loves 4:30 am!!!!)  I am so excited about meeting this little guy! I can not believe he will be here in less than 10 weeks!! CRAZY!!! Here is little KJ at my last appointment. Not that great of a picture…but trust me, he is ADORABLE!!!

25 months

It has already been a month since you have turned two. Crazy how fast time goes.  You are such a big boy, which makes me sad, but I do love seeing you grow up.

You are still in 2T shirt and pants, size 6/7 shoes, size 4 diapers, but the next box we will buy will be 5.

Speaking of diapers…I really wish we did not have to buy them…but you are not ready to tee tee in the potty.  You have tee teed in the potty at Janice’s house, but you have not done it at home.  Janice said you are shy about it though.  She has to leave the bathroom for you to do your business.  Silly boy.

Speaking of Janice…you LOVE going to her house.  You always ask on Sundays if you can go see her.  I guess one day at home with mommy and daddy is enough.  You miss your friends.  You love playing with Ross and Westin everyday!!!

You have started getting your 2 year molars in. You have one that is almost completely in and another one that has started to come in.  I am blaming these teeth on your HORRIBLE attitude lately.  You have been grouchy.  And you don’t always eat that well….so I am sure it is teething.

You are still 100% a daddy’s boy.  Which is nice, so mommy can rest since Keeton is getting BIG.  Daddy is a little tired of it.  You want daddy to do everything for you…give your bath, brush your teeth, wash your hands, lay with daddy and more importantly, daddy has to change all your diapers Smile.

You got to do a lot of fun stuff this past month.  The day after your birthday party, we took you to the golf coarse to play with your new clubs.  You played for 2 hours on the driving range.  You LOVED it.  You want to go all the time….so spring/summer will be fun.

You got to go swimming.  Yes in January. Piper had her birthday party at the swimming pool at SPC.  At first your were not a fan, but it got better.  As long as daddy never took his hands off you, you loved it.  Plus they had a basketball goal in the pool, so you really loved that.

We took you to Ruidoso for our LAST family vacay as a family of THREE.  We were going to take you tubing, but for some reason you were not tall enough.  Which was not true, but oh well…next year.  So instead we went to play putt-putt which I am sure you would have liked that more than tubing.

You can spell your name….as long as mommy is spelling it first.  You are trying to learn your ABC’s.  You will at least say a couple of the letters when we sing it.  You can count to 10….not always in order.  Colors….well you know the names of all the colors, but you don’t actually know the color.  You still could care less about reading.

You still love all sports, but mostly basketball and golf.  We have been taking you outside to play basketball on our big goal in the front yard.

The sweetest thing you do is talk to your brother.  You will talk to him and kiss him and rub mommy’s belly.  Too cute.  I really don’t know what you actually understand about this whole baby thing, but I really think you will be a great big brother.

Here are some pictures of what you have been doing this month.

Robot Party

For your second birthday we had a robot party.  No you are not really into robots…you just call them “b-bots” and I just wanted to hear you call them that all night (it is so cute)

Misty Garza made you the cutest B-bot cake.  I loved it!!! We had a small get together at Pop and memaws house for your party…it was perfect.

You loved seeing all your friends and family…you loved all your presents, but you really loved your new (real) golf clubs that mommy and daddy got you.

Happy birthday sweet boy! We love you bunches and bunches!!!!

Miles is TWO

I CANNOT believer you are TWO.  Where have the last 2 years gone??  You are constantly changing, and growing up.

You wear 2T shirts, 24/2T pants, although they are still big in the waist, they are just right in length.  Size 6 shoes.  Size 4 diapers.

You weigh 25.8 pounds and are 35 1/2 inches tall.  Still my tall/skinny boy.

You can say/repeat any word.  You talk NON-STOP!!!!

You could care less about reading or learning your numbers, colors or ABCs.  All you want to do is play golf, football, baseball and your favorite right now is basketball.

Potty training…well I was hopeful that you would be close by the time you have turned 2…you have not even accidentally tee teed in the potty.  But Janice thinks you will get it soon.

You have not started getting your 2 year molars in.  I really thought you would have them by now since you got all your other teeth in so fast.  They will probably start soon.

You have really turned into a toddler.  You are very, VERY opinionated.  Your temper tantrums are worse and usually over nothing at all.  You get sent to your room a lot.

You pretty much sleep through the night.  You love your big boy bed.

You LOVE mickey mouse.  I mean LOVE.  We probably watch 4 episodes a day.  You refuse to watch any other cartoon.

You are silly and funny.  You will do the most random things.  Daddy and I just look at each other and laugh…we never know what you are going to do.

You are paci free!!!!! We really didn’t have to do anything.  You bit a hole through your very last paci, so there was no use.  You didn’t even like it anymore.  I was a lot easier on you than it was on me.

I can not wait to see what the next year holds for you.  You are growing up so fast.  It will be an exciting year for you as you become a big brother.  Keeton will love you so much and I know you will teach him all the good stuff!! I love you love bug!!!!
