Fair

Every year, since before I had kids, the fair has been a big family affair. We missed my niece and nephew (and Kris and Tara) this year, but so glad Pop and Memaw got to go with us. It was a fast experience due to the rain, but the boys had lots of fun. Their favorite part was the bear show, and honestly it was mine too. We rode rides in the rain, petted some animals, watched the bear show and the boys got to feed the bears, ate some yummy food and just enjoyed being with each other. Thanks to Pop, the boys got new ninja turtle umbrellas...and Keet loves his!! So glad I get to make these memories with my family!!!

And that's a wrap on the South Plains Fair 2014.

Bedtime Prayer

This kid is the absolute sweetest.  He is loving, caring and has a great heart.  Once you are on his bedtime prayer list...you stay there...for months...until your are healed...sometimes even longer....and then, every once in a while he will pray for you again...just for good measure.  I am super proud to be his momma!

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is something I struggle with on a daily basis. I am one of those that once you have hurt me, it's extremely hard for me to forgive...and IF I don't forgive, I hardly ever forget. It's something I have to work on, on a daily basis. But I'm trying. I am trying to be a better me than I was yesterday. I am a work in progress.

Friday Night Lights

I LOVE football season! I am so glad it's finally here. Friday was time for our first home game and it was homecoming. We got Miles' jersey in, he got some tattoos from the cheerleaders...he was ready to go. Except for the rain. It rained all.day.and.all.night.
long. But we where brave for almost 2 quarters and supported our wildcats! We were making memories...and mommy got sick. I can't wait for all the upcoming Friday nights watching football.

We will be splitting our time between wildcat games and hornet games...we have to support our cousin Carson on the hornet team.
