7 months!!!

Wow little man, you are 7 months (actually you are 7 1/2, since momma is little behind blogging)  So lets she whats new.

You were not sick at all.  You had to finish up the antibiotics for the last ear infection, but July was a much better month than June.

You started eating so much better.  You now eat apples, pears, carrots and sweet potatoes.

You sit up all by yourself....it seems like one day it just happened. It shocked me!

You do the funniest thing (well mommy doesn't think its that funny) no matter what time it is, your first car ride in the morning (which is usually to daycare) you poop.  Every single time and usually have to have your clothes changed.  Not sure what the deal is, I guess the car is a relaxing place for you.

You wear size 3 diapers....momma kept you in size 2 for a little to long

You are still my tall, skinny boy....clothes never fit.  You need to wear 6-9 in shirts and onesies, but for pants/shorts, it depends.  Most 3-6 month shorts fall right off you.  I think you need suspenders.

You still talk non stop.  I have no idea what you are talking about, you are very passionate about it!

You "sing" yourself to sleep.  It is adorable.

You have been swimming many times, you do like it, unless the water is too cold.

You love being outside, but mommy wont let you stay outside to long at a time....I don't want my fair skinned baby to burn!

You still just have the 2 bottom teeth...but I think you will get more soon.

You still have daddy's blue eyes, and I bet they wont change.  Which is fine with us.

You still don't like being on your tummy, and get mad if you are on it to long.  Not sure why you just wont roll over...maybe a little lazy or stubborn I guess.

You still wake up 2 times a night.  No matter if we feed you late, keep you up late, you still wake up.

These have been the best 7 months of my life....I can not believe that in only 5 months, you will be a year old!!!!

all summer long zayne has wanted to come stay at "aunt tasey's" house.  well pretty much the only reason he wanted to stay was because miles has a big stuffed alligator that he wanted to play with.  needless to say, when tara asked if we would keep the kids so they could go the the cattle baron's ball, i said yes.  zayne wanted to stay with us and what zayne wants, i give him!  so kris and tara dropped them off with us around 3 on saturday afternoon and then they left to go to their hotel room to get ready for the ball

saturday afternoon we all just hung out for a while and let the kids destroy our house.  man it sure did get messy in about 10 minutes...they had toys out that i didnt even know miles had

after snack time, we went over to kris and tara's hotel room so we could swim in the indoor pool

after swimming we went back to our house for grilled cheese, popcorn and a movie

we blew up the air mattress all watched movies for the rest of the night

sunday morning we woke up, have breakfast, changed diapers and clothes, fixed hair, brushed teeth and headed out to a park to feed some ducks and the baby ducks

then we decided to chase the ducks

i love my niece and nephew and will keep them anytime they want, but hopefully i get a few months of rest before i have to do it again!!!!
