are we crazy???

i know everyone thought we were crazy for volunteering to keep zayne and emry this past weekend. well, maybe we are, but i had fun...dont get me wrong, i was glad when we got back home, but for 2 days and 1 night...it was perfect.

i picked them up from kris and tara's around 9am saturday morning...aaron had to work till 1pm that day, so i took all 3 of them up to sudan to see grandmomma and granddaddy.

most of my weekend consisted of :

emry dont do that....emry stop...emry dont bit your brother....emry be easy with miles....emry dont put your finger in miles' eye...emry do you have a dirty diaper...emry get down....i think you get the picture

or it consisted of:

zayne: "draw me a elphant"

me: "i cant"

zayne: "pease"

me: "ok"

zayne: "dats not very good"

me: "i'm sorry"

zayne: "dats not how my momma does it"

me: "sorry i am not as good as your momma"

zayne: "ephants have LONG tails"

me: "i am sorry i did it wrong"

this went on for a while, as i had to draw a tiger, a rino, a baby rino, a giraffe and even a car with a tail

it was a great weekend...but i am in no hurry to do it again anytime soon!
