Every year on Christmas Eve, we have Christmas with mom's side of the family. Every since the grandbabies have been born, we have made a special time with just the immediate family. So this year we got together on Christmas Eve for lunch. With the addition of Miles, came the addition of like 20 presents (I might be stretching the number a little) So it took a little while. BUT before we could get to the presents, we had to have a mini photo session. For those of you who have more than one child, knows what I am talking about. But with all three grandkids, it took like 5 minutes to get a picture...but we did it!
memaw and her grandbabies
pop decided to join in the fun
tara and her babies
kris did not want to take a picture...he is a brat sometimes!
first family Christmas photo (only one too)
time for presents!!
Miles got some BIG presents!
Zayne got some animals...surprise...surprise!
I believe Emry got some clothes...just what a girl needs!
and Miles got more presents!
Emry decided to help Miles out.
Miles got a brand new rockin' frog. It even plays Jeremiah was a Bullfrog
So after Zayne and Emry had to sit and watch Miles open all his presents. They got to open theirs. The didnt have that many to open, one because Aaron and I along with Kris and Tara got them a trampoline. So I got this book about a dog jumping on a trampoline to tell them. They are more visual children so I still dont think they realize they have a trampoline. So with us getting them that they didnt have much to open. Two, memaw and pops presents were to big and had to stay in the garage! So they waited while Miles opened his then headed out to the garage.
This is what they found out in the garage.
Zayne got his very on four wheeler
And Emry got her very own dune buggy (watch out everyone)
Lets put them together!
Miles was more interested in Grace than the kids presents!
Grace just wanted everyone out of her garage!
Hurry Pop!
Emry stayed outside the whole time and told her daddy how to put her buggy together
Zayne came out just in time to take his new four wheeler for a spin
Ready to ride
For reals...watch out
Zayne paused long enough for one good picture
And they are off
Zayne, Emry and Miles are truly blessed with wonderful grandparents. We had a wonderful afternoon together watching all three of the kids playing with all their new toys. We cleaned up, took naps and prepared for the Phillips clan to join us for a night of craziness, food, fun, love and laughter! What a great Christmas Eve!
