Here we are….30 weeks pregnant. 10 to go. We have set my c-section for April 10, 2012. We hope I actually make it to then. My blood pressure has been up since early 2nd trimester. Our first goal is 34 weeks…which is March 1…YIKES!!! If I make it to then, then our next go is 37 weeks. We are hoping to make it to at least 37 weeks.
We have decided on a name…Keeton Jay. Aaron came up with Keeton and come to find out, it is my mom’s favorite name and Jay is my dad’s middle name. So we will have another KJ.
There have been some issues with Keeton. He has Fetal Pyelctasis. Click here to find out what this is…in medical terms. The good news is, this is something that is pretty common in little boys and will more than likely correct itself once Keeton is delivered. Pretty much the way the Dr. has explained it to me, is there is a “kink in his plumbing” So usually when the baby is born, everything will straighten out. The good great news is, there are no other signs of problems and his other kidney is working perfectly. Also, the right kidney, which is the one that has the problem, has not got any bigger since I went and saw the specialist 8 weeks ago. So, once Keeton gets here, we will meet with a pediatric urologist, they will do an ultrasound, and more than likely they will say there is no problem. Good thing is you only need one kidney and his left kidney is great.
So that is just a little update on little KJ. He is doing great…growing like crazy, and is a little mover. (He loves 4:30 am!!!!) I am so excited about meeting this little guy! I can not believe he will be here in less than 10 weeks!! CRAZY!!! Here is little KJ at my last appointment. Not that great of a picture…but trust me, he is ADORABLE!!!
