KJ–ONE month

My sweet baby is one month old…where has the time gone????

KJ you are such a blessing…you are my sweetheart…you have shown me a completely different type of love…and deeper love…more love.

-You weigh around 10.5 pounds…no clue on how long you are.

-You were 0-3 month clothes (you are just now getting into those)

-You were size 1 diapers.

-You eat about every 2/3 hours and you are eating at least 5oz each time…you LOVE to eat.

-You have changed so much since the day you were born….you have sure gained some weight.

-You had to go to the urologist to check out your kidneys. we still don’t have many answers, other than your kidney looks healthy (PRAISE THE LORD) but the dr did think you have a “mechanical” problem that we will have to fix. We go back June 5 for another ultrasound and some additional test to see if a surgery is in your future.

-You love your brother and brother LOVES you.

-You like your baths ok, but HATE lotion.

-You are a good baby. You usually only cry when you are hungry or gassy (which is mommy’s fault…mommy cant eat anything without making you gassy…sorry)

-You think you are a big boy…you try to hold your head up.

-You do take a paci…mostly when you are hungry.

-You are starting to “Talk” and smile now…so so cute.

We love you big sweet boy!!!! I can not imagine my life without you. You have truly blessed my life. You have taught me so much in your short month that you have been here. You have taught me that some things are out of my control…and that’s ok. You have taught me to cherish each day. To cherish each moment that I get with you and your brother. You have taught me not to worry about the future…whatever happens is going to happen and you can not change that, so just cherish the now moments. You have shown me a strength that I did not know a baby could have or a strength that I have.
