MILES COOPER…mommy is so sorry! I have not blogged and you have been up to so much.
In the last couple of months, you have become such a little boy. We have DEFINATLEY found the terrible twos. We throw horrible fits all.the.time. We are working through them the best we can.
You started staying at Janice’s house. Janice kept mommy when mommy was little so it is really special that she is keeping you. Since staying at Janice’s house, she is working on being potty trained. You sit on the potty, but you are no where near being trained. You have also learned to play guns, climb fences and ride a roller coaster. You love being around the older kids.
You are still my little skinny boy. You are 34in tall, 25.8lbs. You wear 18 month jeans, although they are to short, 2T/24months will fall off you. You wear 2T shirts, size 6/7 shoes and size 4 diapers.
OH.MY.DADDY’S.BOY… This is an understatement. When I say daddy’s boy, I mean you want daddy all the time to do everything. I am not gripping….I love it. You want daddy at bath time, when you have a dirty diaper, to play with you, to tackle you, to be there every time you are awake. Morning are not fun. You hate the fact that daddy is already gone when you wake up and that mommy is your only option. But it is giving mommy a nice little rest until April.
Which brings me to…We found out that you are going to be a big brother in April. You have still yet to process this. You know baby is mommy’s tummy, but you think baby is in your tummy and daddy’s tummy too. When asked if you love you the baby, your response “NO”. We still have a couple of months to change your mind.
SLEEP. Up until the end of October, you would usually sleep through the night just once a week. I had some great advise from a friend at work who suggested that we put you in a big bed, that way we could at least lay down in a bed with you when you woke up. So on October 30, we made your crib into a full size bed (mommy had a minor break down) Since then, you usually only wake up once a week. You are now sleeping 5-6 nights a week through the whole night. AND if you do wake up, you only want your daddy, so it’s a win win for mommy =)
You are obsessed with brushing your teeth and washing your hands. I am not complaining…just maybe a little OCD.
You love anything sports. Still love golf. Golf on the TV, golf on the computer…does not matter to you. Baseball was your favorite, so I was little worried when the season ended, but luckily, you love football just as much. You play “hut hut game” every day with your helmet and you love to tackle daddy.
You are tons of fun, full of energy, you are very challenging, silly.silly.silly, and I would not have you any other way.
Lets see what you have been up to…
Golf of coarse.
some high school football games with friends.
sleeping in Lyla’s bed.
getting so big.
hanging out with pop and learning to crack pecans.
going to the South Plains Fair, petting a baby chicken
seeing the sights with daddy.
riding the merry-go-round with mommy.
ummm….playing dress-up???
helping pop, uncle Kris and daddy harvest.
taking a nap since working on the farm is too hard.

You started cheering “go cats” Guess that answers where we will be sending you to school!

Happy Thanksgiving.

got a little push from Zayne
Took a picture with favorite people.

and helped mommy put up the Christmas tree

It has been an exciting 4 months. Mommy will do better, hopefully. We are going to be spending the next couple of months celebrating your SECOND birthday and getting ready for baby to come.
I love you bunches and bunches lil man!!!
